NSAA Updates Your Responsibility Code

In Collaboration with NSAA, Inter-Mtn. Has Redesigned Your Responsibility Code for American Ski Resorts

To keep up with a new generation of skiers and riders and the safety risks they may confront, NSAA has made important revisions to Your Responsibility Code, the backbone of slope safety.

NSAA, which first developed the Skier Responsibility Code in 1962, encourages all ski areas to understand and adopt this new Code in the 2022-23 season. Furthermore, ski areas are encouraged to update their Your Responsibility Code signs through NSAA's partner in the design process, Inter-Mtn. Enterprises Inc., the ski industry's premier supplier of signs and specialty products since 1987.

Inter-Mtn. has a reputation for manufacturing and supplying high-quality aluminum signs that are built to last. By updating Your Responsibility Code through NSAA’s partner, Inter-Mtn., you can trust that your risk and liability signage will remain:

  • Lightweight and easy to install
  • Durable and able to withstand adverse weather conditions
  • Shaped with rounded corners to ensure no sharp edges
  • Sheeted with an engineer-grade reflective vinyl that has excellent dimensional stability
  • Highly visible, even in low light conditions

The easiest way to upgrade the Your Responsibility Code is by using Inter-Mtn.’s all-new online store, www.inter-mtn.com. Log in and search for H604 (or click the shortcut at the bottom of this page) or for the set of 10 signs, search for H605 (or the shortcut below). On the product page, select your size and quantity, then add it to your cart so you may checkout. Please be aware that this Code is for American Ski Resorts; therefore, the signs (H604 & H605 US) are visible to users logged in within the US and anyone browsing as a guest. Canadian shoppers who want to learn more about these particular signs are encouraged to contact us.

Please note that if you do not have an account to use www.inter-mtn.com, you may Request an Account by completing the online Contact Us form. As always, we love to speak with you. So if you’d prefer to chat, call us at 250.491.3311 or email signs@inter-mtn.com.
