Park City Mountain Resort
Mining the Past to Inspire the Future
Park City leans into its rich mining and skiing heritage by incorporating themed elements throughout its learning area.
These Kidstuff pieces act like mini time capsules—subtle, playful nods that help instructors share the resort’s story while kids build their confidence on the snow.
Hilltop Ski Area
A Foam Cargo Ship That Tells a Local Story
Hilltop’s community has deep ties to its shipping provider—so they transformed that partnership into a one-of-a-kind foam cargo ship, complete with detachable containers.
It’s an imaginative training tool, a local tribute, and an irresistible play piece all in one. Kids practice and play without even realizing they’re learning.
Big White Ski Resort
Bringing the Ogopogo to Life
British Columbia’s legendary lake creature is more than folklore; it’s part of Canada’s favourite family resort’s oversized Ogopogo.
This cutout brings the mythical creature to life while providing a welcoming structure for skiing around. It’s Instagram-worthy, memory-making, and unmistakably unique to this community.
Sun Peaks Resort & Sun Valley Resort
Showcase Local Artists on Snow
Sun Peaks Resort has created several ski-through-the-woods Kids Adventure Zones, each with its own playful animal theme. Local artist Zuzy Rocka designed the artwork, which Sun Peaks brought to life as large-scale characters placed throughout the woods. These pieces create memorable moments for families, including character cutouts with face holes so guests can snap a photo that puts them right in the scene.
At Sun Valley Resort, they partnered with local artist Kika Macfarlane to create a unique, energetic collection of Kidstuff pieces. Their setup at Sunny’s Adventure Park on Dollar Mountain features a double-sided foam bear with an outstretched paw and a speech bubble reading “High Five!”, inviting and encouraging interactions as guests move through the learning area. The collection also includes custom foam shapes, Crezon character cutouts, and a one-of-a-kind custom punching bag. Each graphic was made with digitally printed artwork and durable vinyl fabrics chosen to match Sun Valley’s vision.
Both resorts showcase how local artistry and Kidstuff can come together to create learning spaces that feel fun, distinctive, and deeply connected to their communities.
Mount Southington Ski Area
A Playful Approach to Caring for the Mountain
Mount Southington and the Snowball Effect took the lead in bringing the ON BOARD initiative to their learning area focused on sport, sustainability, and education.
Our part was simple: we provided the branded Kidstuff snow toys—foam trees, log-shaped bumpers, and colourful arches inspired by Snowball Effect artwork.
Kids snowboard around foam trees, glide past log-shaped bumpers, and dip under colourful arches, so while they’re learning to shred, they’re also learning to sort.
